"What does hardcore punk from Rovaniemi, Finland sound like? It’s not the case that every punk band from Finland has to sound like KAAOS or TERVEET KÄDET, but it can also be done in a “modern” way. Accordingly, OFFSIDE REIDARS from Lapland in Northern Finland act very confidently and, above all, decisively. Which is no coincidence, because the three band members have been active in the local punk scene since 1982 (!) and are really into it. Could also be one of the good current bands from the USA, the individual songs are that good. It can be fast, hard, but sometimes slow, the guitar is quite metallic. Very sympathic."
